The Dhofar region in Oman received attention from countries around the world after World War II. Although the influence of Britain on Arab countries, including Oman, had historical roots, as Britain's power in the Arab countries diminished on the one hand and Iran and Saudi Arabia's influence increased in the region, political relations in Dhofar shifted in one direction or the other. At this time, Dhofar was prone to a group of opponents of the government due to internal reasons and external conditions. Despite the historical importance of the Dhofar movement, this movement is considered one of the most neglected historical events in the field of World War II history studies. The main question of the research is what factors led to the emergence of the Dhofar War in the Persian Gulf? What was Iran's role in the emergence of the Dhofar Battle and its outcome? The research findings show that factors within the Dhofar region and the influence of influential powers in the region led to the emergence of the Dhofar War.
