The Quarterly Journal of Iranian Diplomatic Studies seeks to focus—in a specialized and profound manner—on foreign policy, diplomacy, and issues concerning Iran and the West Asia region, with the aim of gaining a fundamental understanding, examining the challenges of this strategic region, and identifying strategies to address them.Accordingly, the primary objective and future vision of this quarterly journal is to publish scientific—and, more importantly, *applied*—findings regarding political, international, economic, and cultural developments in Iran and West Asia. We aim to bridge the gap between knowledge, theory, and policy-oriented scholarship through the participation of researchers in political science, regional studies, and international relations; by focusing specifically on Iran and its neighbors, we seek to offer a fresh and distinctive perspective. Furthermore, we are committed to internationalizing the journal and leveraging the expertise of researchers from the Iranian Association for West Asian Studies—as well as other scientific bodies, academic institutions, and research centers—to reflect the Iranian perspective on developments across the West Asian region.
